Anna Syder, Senior Partner & Director of Strategic Partnerships

  Anna Syder is a highly accomplished social entrepreneur seasoned in business management and resource development, focused on promoting financial growth and stability through effective management. With more than 15 years of experience as founder and CEO of MGC, Anna has extensive experience in strategic consulting, business innovation and in securing funds for non-profit organizations and corporations locally and abroad. As the CEO of MGC (The Fundraising Center), Anna applies her wealth of knowledge to the benefit of organizations worldwide. Her visionary thought leadership has helped organizations expand their capabilities, allowing them to better achieve their goals, contribute to their communities and extend their services to larger and more diverse populations. Working with NGOs and foundations in the USA, Israel, UK and Australia, Anna is a professional at connecting organizations with vast philanthropic resources on the global stage. Anna maintains a large database with a variety of philanthropic options used to suit the needs of any given NGO, directing her unique insights to drive unparalleled results. Anna has led teams of researchers, analysts, grant writers, and project managers, emphasizing a “big-picture” approach in all affairs. Abraham Rubin, Senior Development Consultant

  Abraham has a B.A. in Logistics and Economics, with much of his professional career spent successfully facilitating the growth and development of international businesses. His role as Senior Consultant allows for the application of his extensive corporate development experience toward helping non-profits catapult their organizations to the next level.  Always through the lens and with an eye toward financial growth, Abraham advises and guides executives through the process of achieving dynamic, long-term strategic partnerships. His panoramic perspective and ability to cultivate possibilities are among the many extraordinary talents he brings to the IDC Giving Group Team.

 

 

 

Dr. Bernie Kastner, Grant Writer

Dr. Bernie Kastner completed his undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University, graduate studies at Columbia University and post-graduate work at Heed University, where he received his doctorate in Counseling Psychology. A professional of many talents and interests, Dr. Kastner served as Administrator of the Department of Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and later as Associate Director of a large New York based philanthropy. He is uniquely experienced in both aspects of the charitable and philanthropic world, and thus is ideally suited to lead our Grant Writing Department. A gifted writer, Bernie has thus far created 5 published works and continues to apply his expertise for the benefit of IDC Giving Group’s clients, ensuring that grant materials are inspiring, compelling and speaks to the language of philanthropy.

 

 

Alan Levy, Resource Development Consultant

Alan Levy exhibits extraordinary prowess in managing complex portfolios across diverse sectors. His exceptional ability to secure high-value contracts and manage client relationships in construction underscores his strategic and client-centric approach. Leading the charge in wholesale sales, Alan drove an impressive annual turnover of over $8M in girls’ apparel. His co-management of a textile company, with its significant annual revenue, highlights his astute business acumen and market understanding. Alan’s expertise in property management and proficiency in essential business tools like Microsoft Office and QuickBooks further accentuate his multifaceted skill set, making him an invaluable asset in any high-stakes financial environment.

 

 

Ken Goffstein, Resource Development Consultant

Ken Goffstein has shown remarkable expertise and achievement in the mortgage banking sector. Serving as a leading loan originator at a renowned mortgage corporation, he boasts an impressive portfolio with estimated residential and construction loan originations totaling around $25 million for the year 2022. His proficiency extends to aiding clients with construction financing, encompassing elements such as planning, permits, and zoning considerations. Kenneth’s role in putting together a team of loan originators, along with his background as an independent risk analysis consultant, underscores his thorough grasp of the financial industry and the requirements of clients.

 

 

Michael Glassman, Grant Writer

  Michael has a B.A. in Classical Studies and Ancient History from Tulane University. Michael has experience working for organizations where he was involved in not only grant writing and fundraising, but in all aspects of operating a successful nonprofit including writing articles and reports, planning and leading workshops, and research. Michael has worked with students and community leaders in formal and informal settings, providing education and information. He is a people-person, with strong organizational and management skills. Michael’s greatest skill as a grant writer is his ability to present an organization to a potential donor in such a way that the donor immediately wants to become involved in the project. He draws on his experience to build a clear strategy with achievable milestones for each nonprofit. His writing is informative, organized and approachable.

 

Ariella Goffman, Case Manager

  Ariella holds her B.A. from Thomas Edison State College. She is an ideal Case Manager, a true “systems thinker” with the natural ability to multi-task and organize individual tasks into stepping stones toward reaching the eventual goal. Ariella’s experience spans both the educational and non-profit worlds, where she developed, implemented and supervised programs of great positive impact. In Ariella, our clients find a common language and understanding of the unique role of bolstering non-profit organizations within our social ecosystem. She founded and continues to run her own grassroots initiative, a local non-profit Clothing Boutique which has served the community for close to a decade. Equally adept at analyzing both an organizational structure and a financial profile, Ariella is a thoughtful and resourceful guide to our clients as they embark on their grant journey.

 


Pearl Domb, Department Manager
Foundations Researcher

Pearl has a M.H.A. in Health Care Administration and Management from Kaplan University, Maryland and a B.A. in Humanities from Thomas Edison College, New York. Working in a medical center in New York taught Pearl how to gather and analyze information, manage and update numerous files simultaneously and above all, trained her to pay meticulous attention to detail. All these skills have contributed to her success as a researcher for IDC Giving Group, where she analyses the features, motives and interests of different foundations, so that she can match a nonprofit with a foundation that has similar values and concerns. Pearl is logical and organized. She is responsible for identifying new funds and sources of income. The information that she gathers is critical to our fundraising success.

 

Rebecca Cohen, Client Case Manager

Rebecca has a B.A. in Mathematics and Statistics, as well as Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University. Highly precise and detail-oriented, Rebecca is exceptionally suited to manage our office with dexterity while helping all of our clients through the complicated process of fundraising with a smile. Rebecca is multi-lingual and this comfort with different cultures allows her to build a relationship with customers based on trust and understanding.
Thanks to her professional attitude and organizational skills, day to day work at IDC Giving Group runs smoothly. Rebecca is a consummate professional who is at ease in fast-paced environments and situations, and invaluably enhances every project she takes part in.

 

Eliana Kramer, Administrator 

Eliana’s proficiency in organization and attention to detail is truly exceptional. As the primary point of contact for gathering materials from clients and liaising with multiple foundations, Eliana demonstrates exceptional dedication to ensuring that all requests are met with the utmost accuracy and precision. Despite the administrative nature of her work, her success in securing funding for our clients often hinges on her meticulous adherence to technical and visual details. Eliana’s primary objective is to guide our clients through the rigorous technical phase of submitting applications while ensuring that all necessary legal documentation is in order. Her professional demeanor and strong organizational skills are major assets to the day-to-day operations of IDC Giving Group. Charles Heelan, COO

Charles used to work for companies involved in various investments on the order of hundreds of millions. In this work, he had to conduct in-depth research on what and how to invest, and to communicate between the investors and the investment owners. He performed this work in an extraordinary way, both in terms of the investment itself, and in terms of the explanation for the client, and the provision of the service for them throughout. His high abilities in making investments and business consulting, he turned towards the development of non-profit associations, where his goal is to maximize the return on their investment in the best way. While paying attention to all the processes at work until the best results are obtained for them.

Miriam E. Harrison, Consultant

Miriam has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications with a Minor in Marketing and is well-versed in Torah law and History.  Her blend of Torah, Business, and the Arts have molded her into a keen and compassionate professional, showing a great understanding of the essential needs of potential partners.  In her experience abroad in the field of philanthropy, Miriam has worked both as a Philanthropist and Project manager in international outreach projects.  This transitioned into a deeper insight and expertise of both sides of the spectrum in the world of philanthropy as she developed as a consultant. Miriam is a visionary with each and every future partner.  She has an eye for name-worthy projects.  Her exceptional mastery and commitment to communicating and guiding executives and nonprofits enables them to forecast strategic partnerships.  She cultivates a profound sense of assurance as she guides them in the envisionment of achieving lifelong relationships with foundations for years to come.
